Director Wendy Redding is a licensed Instructor with Yamashita International holding a 5th degree black belt in ShorinRyu Karate & a 2nd degree black belt in Matayoshi Kobudo.
She is also a certified instructor with the International FAST Defense organization and has over 25 years teaching experience with both children and adults.
Assistant Instructor David Jehnzen is a 3rd degree black belt with Yamashita International.
Dave has many years of varied teaching experience and is a certified firefighting instructor, police officer, medical first responder and defense tactics instructor, and has also served as a DARE instructor.
Assistant Instructor Ryan Duba is a 2nd degree black belt with Yamashita International.
Ryan has more than a decade of experience teaching and coaching a variety of different sports, he is also a certified information architect, with experience as a lifeguard & swimming instructor. Some of his hobbies include; flying airplanes, kayaking, stand up jet skiing, biking and construction projects.
Instructor Joey Baker is a 6th degree black belt with Yamashita International with a 4th degree black belt in Matayoshi Kobudo.
Joey has trained in the Martial Arts for over 30 years. He has worked as a registered nurse for the past 5 years and also enjoys running and competing in marathons.
Instructor Don W. has studied martial arts and self-defense since college. Don has primarily focused on Daito Ryu Aikijujitsu under Okabayashi Shogen Sensei’s Hakuho Ryu Aikibudo. In addition, he has studied Southern Style Kungfu in China, and defensive tactics.
He also enjoys CrossFit, powerlifting, and extreme endurance events.
